A week ago today, Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Regardless of your political beliefs, we all can agree that there is no room for senseless violence.
The problem is only getting worse and it's time for all of us, including business leaders, to reflect and act. What can you do as a business leader?
Listen more. Talk less.
Tone down your own rhetoric.
Ask someone you disagree with to explain, calmly, why they believe what they believe. And don't argue with them when they share their beliefs. You may not agree with them. But by being respectful and listening, you will show a humanity that is often lacking.
Support uniters.
Find common ground with others in your own lives, even if you disagree with them.
As a business leader, you have a responsibility to serve more than just your shareholders. Many of your employees, your customers and your partners are hurting. Reach out and make it clear that you care, regardless of your political beliefs.
In heavy times, it’s even more important to keep showing up as leaders and as shoveling entrepreneurs.

CHEAT CODE: JUST DO IT
We’ve always believed that everyone is born an entrepreneur. Like Picasso said, every child is born an artist, and the challenge is staying one as you grow up. The same goes for entrepreneurship, which involves a level of risk and creativity that is oftentimes schooled out of you.
School might teach you to sit down, shut up, and memorize, but once you’re out, the real question becomes: how are you different?
Here’s our cheat code: Just do it.
Whether it’s setting up a lemonade stand, launching a drop-ship business, or flipping VeeFriends cards, the magic happens when you take action. Dive in, get your hands dirty, and learn by doing.
Entrepreneurship is all about carving your own path, taking risks, and learning from every stumble and success.
So, whatever your idea is — big or small — just do it. Take that leap. Embrace your inner entrepreneur and let your creativity run wild. The world is waiting for your unique touch.
